Just found out that Target has TaxCut Deluxe + State 2006 for $19.99 this week.... online and B&M

Do a PM at Staples and get $10 back via Easy Rebate.

So, $29.99 - $11 (110% guarantee) - $10 rebate = $8.99

EDIT....

Also $19.99 at Walmart

I don't think it is "better" funcitonally, but certainly equal. The better part comes in by not having to deal with Intuit -- who are (in my over 15 years of experience with Quickbooks, Quicken, and TurboTax) horribly customer unfriendly. The copy protection BS they tried to foist on users in 2002 and 2003 was a sin not to be forgiven IMHO.

For the PMers: WalMart also has Taxcut Deluxe + State for $19.99.
I was in tonight to look for Firefly or Serenity (both OOS) and there was a rather full display of Taxcut boxes.

ditto on that. Walmart had Taxcut std for $9.99 and deluxe for $19.99. They also had Turbotax in the same kiosk but don't remmber the price.

Sorry to be a stickler but Wal:sun:Mart has it for $19.77. I didn't see it in their ad though so you might have to have their number on you or some other proof of price. The dummie at 'Raples' said he had people PMing a lot today so he didn't call. But he did try to give me a 100% PM instead of a 110% PM. I had to call him on it! So BBW: you could lose a buck if your not careful!

Oh yeah, OP you can get Microscoff Money (Standard or Deluxe) and a variety of other software (e.g. Norton, McAfee) FAR when you buy this, too. You might wanna put that in the summary or something to sweeten the deal. Link

BTW, what the deuce is this $10 'gift check' that they are to send you? Is it just like a GCert or GCard?

Yup -- same here. Started using Intuit products in 1992, yada yada. I have boycotted their products for 2 years now and will continue to do so :)
