tatung 15" lcd w/ dvi -$199 at outpost -refurb

I saw this deal also. I'm not familiar with Tatung, plus it's a refurb. I would definitely have to say Buyer Beware to this one.

Well it looks identical to the HP branded Pavilion F50 monitor I am currently looking at!, It seems fine to me, although I have nothing to compare it to.

Hope that helps

Tatung has been around for many years. I got a Tatung monitor about 8 years ago and it actually still works.

these are HP 50 . 25ms response time it should be.

they are dvi and analog. my dad works at tatung , i've seen the refurb area, they do a good job tested just as tough as a new one.
the panel is by chung hwa picture tubes. subsidiary of tatung in taiwan.

tatung has been around forever at least since the XT days . they were one of the first companies to release a 386 based computer back in the day when they made their own brand machines. they are one of the only sun workstation clone makers left out there too.

I agree weepul, the 1024x768 is too small for me. I'd rather have two cheap 17in lcd's capable of 1280x1024. 🙂
