Tattoos

Do we have a thread with pictures of members tattoos (I'm stressing here that that's not tattooed members!)?
I need inspiration!

I don't have tattoos, but if I did, I'd look into old Celtic and Norse artwork. I especially like the knotted animistic themes.

I use this as an avatar some places...

Ah, zero tats. In my younger years, I was in tattoo parlors in several countries and cities…in various stages of inebriation…yet somehow, I just never did find anything that I wanted inked on my for the rest of my life.

Since Boomer showed up, it reminded me I also like NW US Indian art. Might be weird to go overboard on it, but you should be able to find something cool.

There were some pretty awesome Celtic crosses where I was born.

None.

Quite pleased that I managed to avoid one while serving in the military. Seeing folks with horrendous"trendy" tatoos just has me shaking my head. From the barbed wire arm band, to the tribal tats, to the shitty Asian characters to the latest being the chest mandala also known as the "titty chandelier".

No tattoos here. Most of the garbage I see people ink themselves up with just look like trash and I don't feel strongly enough about anything that I would permanently mark up my skin with its likeness.

When I was a young fellow a skull with a knife through it was popular, for reasons I never understood.

My concern about getting a tattoo is it not turning out like I hoped. Sure, do one's homework and check out the artist's work beforehand, but artists are only human.

None here. I considered getting my daughter's name or at least initials somewhere, but could never decide location. That, and I could never decide on a font so I stopped contemplating it.

My boss came in for something on his day off one time in shorts and a tee shirt. We started BS'ing before he left and I noticed a really bad batman tattoo on his arm. Like bad bad. It was the classic yellow and black logo, but the yellow looked weird on his white skin, and the logo was faded (obviously he had this done a long time ago). It might've looked good years ago, but it looked stretched out etc.

For a while I think you got a free barbed wire armband tat with every hayabusa purchase.

If that's really your back piece down thread you don't need any inspiration AFAIC. That piece is magnificent!

I'm tattooed from my knuckles to my neck. Some of that work is prolly older than some members here.
