Get it on your sternum, that's where one of mine are. Just make sure you can wear short sleave shirts and not have them show. I've got seven of them all over but I can wear pants and a shirt and not have any show.

Wrist or ankle tats are pretty girly imo. I have three and dont regret any one of them, though in work attire none can be seen. Shorts and sleeveless shirts are the only time theyre visible.

My only tattoo is on my upper arm. I was planning on getting it on my forearm but thought of my future and how people react to someone with ink. Now at work wear I have to wear a tie, nobody even sees it and most dont know that I even have it. I know I will never regret mine as it has meaning behind it. Though I dont plan on getting another if I did I would always make sure that it can be hidden while working.

Almost everybody who has ever had a tattoo ended up regretting it at some stage. Companies that specialize in Laser removals are doing a booming business at the moment.

Just don't do it. It's silly.

Almost everybody? Did you do a door to door poll?

 Couldn't agree more.

Don't get a tattoo. You'll just regret it later in life. The only people who don't are people who don't give a shit and/or have no job.

lol...so anti-biker you are.

Tattoos only affect those that are stupid about them.

Tat up your face, no job usually.

Be a slacker, no job usually.

My first one is on my left shoulder and down my back a bit and my new one is going on my right shoulder. I work in an office and wear a shirt/tie every day, so nobody ever sees them or even knows that I have them.

got 2 full sleeves, work at a gvnt job, wear polos/shot sleeve shirts and noboddy gives a single f*ck about them! I dont regret anything as it was not done without thinking. The only difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people is that tattooed people dont care that you don't have any ink!

wrist is a bad idea if you want to keep it concealed at work. even if you never wear a short sleeve shirt, as you move your sleeves move and people 'will' see it. ankle seems kinda girly to me for a line of text.

does it have to wrap around? maybe get the text on something that looks like a page of parchment or old paper and put it on your shoulder blade or under your arm. those are both places that would be hard to see in a work environment.

I want to jump into this conversation with both feet, but that usually gets me in trouble with the pro-ink crowd. I will just say that OP should not get any tattoos and leave it at that.

It's not so much pro-ink as it is anti-douchebag...

So your location choices are your wrists, ankles, or inside of your feet? Have you asked your boyfriend if it's ok for you to get a tat?

Right now I'm pretty keen to get it on my foot. Inside of the foot makes sense for a line of text, but really anywhere on the foot would be okay.

I'm not considering ankle, and wrist is basically out of the question.

Ink fades fast on feet, poor choice.

My neighbor has a Harley, never had any tats but now he's got the tat bug since he's getting close to retirement age. He has a large tat on his calf and another big one on his arm. Basically, he doesn't give a shit anymore... like I said in my post. Old guys rule!

I'm a biker but I'm not into tats. I have some biker friends who have tats and some biker friends who don't.

I'm currently contemplating getting a line from Edgar Allen Poe or Oscar Wilde, on the inside of my foot like what I linked to in my original post.

I want to get it in size 20 font, as it is going to be like a 20th birthday gift to myself.

Isn't that one of the most painful spots get a tat?

Not me, man. I'd be screaming like a little bitch.

Foot? Not a great spot friend. Hands and feet are both pretty poor choices.

Really? Got the case study that proves this? Talking about the regret part.

I do just fine thanks and have zero regrets about my tattoo and likely will not regret my new one either, unless it gets fucked up somehow.

Love everyone who has no clue telling others what to do. If you had one, then had it removed, then I retract that statement, otherwise shut the fuck up and let adults think for themselves.
