No way! I was seriously thinking about getting the same thing! I guess Leonardo's work is more popular than I thought.

a torn up confederate flag tied to a boat anchor? i'm not so sure if thats a pro-union or pro-confederate tattoo

The anchor = My dad's death and he used to serve in the navy... And the flag's my standing point in political on terms of state power over an union one.

As posted in your other thread... HERE is mine. Got it done in winter 1994... from a pic i drew when i was a teenager, many years before that.

i had always wanted that as a tattoo... but first my parents forbid me, then my ex hubby forbid me... then there was the AIDS/Hepatitis scare. Finally when i was in my 30's... there was no one to stop me anymore and i got it done... kinda a freedom/rebellion thing.

the following year, i got six studs put in my right ear in one day. hurt like hell and VeggieFrog disapproved.

🙂

I have no tattoos, and no piercings.

In today's society, that makes ME the rebel and unique. 🙂

At any rate, I have never found a piece of artwork I have wanted on my wall for my entire life... why would I assume I would want some on my body?

I haven't yet found an image that will be suitable for a tattoo on my chest. I have a large cross on my back that I need to go back to get more detail on it. On my chest I want a large angel with the wings going towards my shoulders, but I haven't ever seen anyone draw an angel that would work.

I have three.

One This was for my cousin Jennifer.

Two This is a bad picture of it because it hadn't even been cleaned up yet.

Three I just got this one. It's on the small of my back. (Tramp Stamp) In the pic, it's peeling, so it looks faded. The one on my ankle barely hurt and the one on my foot barely hurt. This one, though, OMG!!!!!

EDIT: On the third....that isn't a steamy turd. It's a coccoon. I may have him make that a little more detailed later on.

The back and joints are the most painful places for tattoos.

It was weird because I mean, there was next to no pain on my ankle or foot, but my back hurt like hell. lol

Same here. Tattoos used to be a way to stand out from a croud, sadly, today they are used as a way for people to fit in.
