Tasty Free macadamia nut chocolates with any order 27.95 value

Actually, it's better than that - you should rewrite your OP topic title:

It's described as a $27.95 value and it's free with your first order from the company. I see items as cheap as $9. I think I'm going to order a sausage for about $10. At the moment, the sausage and the free chocolates are in my cart. Thanks!

Mmm, I may have misinterpreted your title. It seems ambiguous. I do think you should rewrite it to make clear that your order can be any value and the chocolates are valued at $27.95.

Edit: There's something they call an address charge on my order in addition to $2.50 shipping, for an additional amount of $5.40
 
Shop in their "Postpaid" section...got a 9pk tin of "petits fours" & the free macadamia nut chocolates for $8.03 after tax/shipping. Killer deal...ordering more w/parents new accts 😀!!!!!!!!

Well, I could be wrong but I think I had all 3 of the slickdeals items in my cart but then decided I wanted the macadamia nut chocolates. I was informed that I already had the limit of free items in my cart. I removed the pecan chocolates but found I could not add another free item. Now, no matter what I do, I can only have one free item. How did you get 3 items? If I can only get two it will be the Petit-Fours and pastry sampler, I suppose....

Edit: I cleared out my cart (again...), deleted the two cookies that appeared to have been involved with all this and went to the link in this thread to Slickdeals. Put those items in my cart in that order and I was permitted to buy all 3, including 2 free items. Guess I could have worked this to get the Macadamia Nut Chocolates instead of the pecan chocolates, but there's some Mac nut chocolates in the Pastry Sampler, so I'll get to try those too. All for $7.95 shipped! Thanks, everybody.

Edit 2: Does anyone know how they ship? UPS?
 
These really aren't that bad. I'm a chocolate fiend, and these aren't chocolates from here but they are reall ynot that bad. BTW, if you are in NYC, head to their (mason du...) the stuff is incredible. $75 a pound. I plunked down $20+ for a cup of hot cocoa and a handful of chocolates and was happy with the exchange.

Whoa! $50+ for 5 ounces of chocolate? I'm definitely not ready to spend that kind of money for chocolate. $5 seems like a lot to me for 5 oz. I'm in the Lindt/Droste league right now. 😀 That's around $7.50/lb.

IMO, it's the chocolate (if it's quality), not the nuts. But chocolate covered nuts can be very very good. Of course, the nuts have to be quality, fresh and the chocolate should be quality. Then it rocks.
 
Ok, I made 2 orders, one for the 9 petit fours for 7.95, and the free pastries sampler and the free royal pecan squares, and haven't heard anything from that after a confirmation letter, the second order I ordered 9 more petit fours for 7.95, and the free 27.95 macadamia nut chocolates, yummy. So I got an e-mail for the second order that the 9 petit fours were out of stock unless I waited till february, so I called them to cancel them and replace them with something else, but I cancelled them and they said the other free chocolates were already shipped and on the way, so I could make another order if I wanted but they couldn't stop the free gift, so I said thats ok, I just wanted the gift and she laughed and credited my account for the 7.95 lol. YMMV
 
I'm in for 3 and what i'm wondering is...how are they NOT out of the choc. covered nuts by now??? Cuz ya figure everybody is gettin the choc. nuts, but only most are gettin the petits fours. Oh well, free is good.
 
So, I've gotten must be 3-4 emails from these folks so far. When I look up my order status at their site it says:

1 AW1200 9 PETIT FOUR-4X4 TIN Shipped on 12/15/04 via Postal Service
1 AG1314 FREE PASTRY SAMPLER Not shipped, estimated ship date is 02/11/05
1 AG1304 CTP 18 RYL CH PCN SQ Shipped on 12/15/04 via Postal Service

This is odd because today's 12/11/04 and it says two items have shipped on 12/15/04. I got an email today saying if I didn't respond, they would cancel my Free Pastry Sampler shipment. It said I could call or email whether or not I still wanted the Pastry Sampler.

I emailed back that I'd be happy to get the sampler when it becomes available. 😕
