Yeah, republican shirts are the only distasteful ones...

It happens on both ends of the aisle.

I find the use of the term "liberal" quite funny. Holds a completely different meaning outside of the states. A "liberal" here is actually far from it.

And for a party that's given itself the image of being everything Bush isn't, they've given him everything he's wanted.

I hate to defend liberals here, but the worst thing on there is along the lines of "Impeach Bush". Where are the ones that advocate shooting people in the face?

Exactly. It's not even close to the same level, and there's no bigotry or endorsement of torture. Did you even look at the liberal store Lazy8s??

I like how all the conservatool t-shirts rely on Obama's name or attempting to debunk global warming. At least the liberal t-shirts are original, funny, and truthful.

In your opinion:

Which of the conservative ones are not truthful?

Which if the liberal ones are truthful?

Maybe...... :D

To MotionMan:

I feel that those who disbelieve in global warming have the burden of proof on them, since there is far more published data regarding the realities of global warming than anything that can logically form a counter-argument to it.

As far as liberal shirts being truthful, any of em that mention Bush being retarded, Ann Coulter being an evil, evil person, and the middle class being threatened by conservative policies are irrefutably truthful.

What about those who "believe" in global warming, but not that man has "caused" it?

Now who is not being truthful? There are valid arguments on both sides and there are no irrefutable truths in politics.

Like I said before, those who don't think humans have caused need alot of proof to stand up to the overwhelming evidence brought forth by researchers showing that it is our fault (at least to some degree).

And as far as my other 3 statements go, I am right, and woe unto those who would like to make a pitiful attempt at arguing against those 3 truths.

And, that, my friends, is the rub. There are those that think that man can "cause" or "prevent" global warming. On the other hand, some believe that global warming happens naturally and the question is whether man is making global warming happen measurably faster. I am not sure that there is enough evidence on either side to definitively say who is right. It is pretty clear that some global warming is happening - it is not so clear what we can do, if anything about STOPPING it (versus slowing it down). Then again, in school, I was taught to fear the upcoming ice age - where did that go?

And as far as my other 3 statements go, I am right, and woe unto those who would like to make a pitiful attempt at arguing against those 3 truths.

There is a medical/psychological definition of "retarded". Are you claiming that Bush meets that definition?

Wow. Nancy boy? Shouldn't you be dragging someone of indeterminate sexual orientation behind your truck right about now?

Since you seem to be of the same unintelligent ilk as some of your posting peers, I'll break this down for you as well:

Is being a "Nancy-boy" equivalent to homosexuality? No - that's an asinine assumption. I hate to resort to a personal anecdote, but the 1 "gay" friend I have is about 6'2" and 240lbs and once cut his leg open with a chainsaw, yet finished his cord before seeing a doctor, while I have another married friend who once related to us how he pulled over and cried for a few minutes after getting a speeding ticket from a cop. Guess to which of these the term "Nancy-boy" would apply?

My usage of the phrase was meant to denote a "sissy-like" attitude. That is, someone who has a higher-than-average sensitivity, or "thin-skinned," if you will. Someone who obviously cannot appreciate forms of humor outside of their own comfort-zone, much like the poster I quoted, and obviously yourself.

Was the irony of your own irrational "OMG! He's a gay-hating redneck!" assumption in relation to my comment completely lost on you? I'm willing to bet that's a big 10-4, good buddy.

There's nothing worse that an insensitive, uninformed, holier-than-thou bigot who somehow thinks he's more evolved and intelligent than his peers, solely based on his own self-imposed idealogical alignment - that applies to you, throck, manowar, and the other uber-sensitive P&N trolls who showed up here to have a little group cry.

Does that help any, sissy-kins? :lips:

You can't prove what causes global warming without creating a separate earth with no humans on it as a control.

Maybe, but next to Teddy Roosevelt he was the greatest president of the 20th century.

LOL.

for the most part, i *really* hate stuff on cars. some times a t shirt can be funny, usually on cars this is not the case.

however, i got a chuckle out of a black ribbon on a car that said "some asshole stole my support ribbon"

im *kinda* thinking of getting a Pirate Fish sticker for my car. everyone around here now is getting stickers from their church or a restaurant or whatever....but i dont want an ATOT sticker ;)

Hehe, who's the sensitive puss now? Oh yeah, that's you mr conservitard. Seriously, go write a book, I'm sure you'll sell as well as Ann Coulter. The fact is, the products on that site are targeted toward the type of moron that voted for Bush. Fuck, they're probably run by a bunch of "sissy-liberals" who are, right now, LAUGHING at their customers and rolling in the dough.

On a side note, why does the Daily Show make you bitch so much, if it's supposed to be for nancy-boys? You're a sad "man".

LOL

I'm as environmental as it gets...but this statement is full of Greenpeace-style misrepresentation.

The overwhelming evidence is that Global Climate change is indeed occurring. This is irrefutable. The debate centers around how much humans have influenced. We have indeed contributed, but is that contribution negligible to natural processes? Probably not, but it's likely not as serious as the most outlandish doom and gloom predictions.

The main point to consider is that as responsible Global Citizens, we can and should do much more to lessen our own impact, and do what we can to reduce existing damage (a tall order).
