Taskbar and dual monitors

I have dual monitors with my desktop extended. The problem is that the start menu and taskbar are on my primary monitor which is a laptop and often closed, is there any way to extend the taskbar to both monitors, or clone it, or anything to add some functionality? I have a nvidia card by the way

gotta get this if running dual monitors.

you should also make the external monitor the primary if you close the laptop.
