I have something stange with my computer. Even back with wnidows 98 a few years ago the task scheduler never worked. Even when I installed Windows ME it still did not work. I did a full clean install on a new hard of Win ME but still task scheduler does not work. I have reinstalled it as well but task scheduler just does not work. I have a diferent computer at home without problems. It may have been my hardware but for a while now I upgraded every part of my system other then the 1.44 MB floppy (I don't think it can cause such problems). I determined through msconfig that I have two SchedulingAgents at startup. One runs mstinit.exe /firstlogon and another one runs mstask.exe. I assume that what I need is the mstask.exe but can the other one be disrupting it. Basicly, does anybody know if I can do something to activate it or force it to run somehow. I can do almost anything eccept formating as I cannot loose my data or lose my basic installed programs as I am not sure if I have all the media to restore them.
