Task manager

Does anyone know where the option to go straight to task manager instead of that little box with the options is? or if there is another way to lock your computer without using ctrl-alt-delete.

Right click the taskbar and select 'task manager' from there.

If you are using XP you can hit Windows-L to lock your workstation.

isn't there an option somewhere that makes go to task manager everytime you hit ctrl-alt-delete? i've done it before but i don't remember how.
