Task manager is not working

This is probably easy for you guys, but my task manager (the application I get when I press ctrl+alt+delete, hope I'm naming this correctly) no longer has tabs at the top that let me switch from active programs to CPU usage, etc. Can anyone tell me how to change it back to the original? thanks.
