Task Bar: There is a space between my Start icon and my quick launch icons on my task bar. How I eliminate that space?

I tried moving the quick launch icons next to the start button icon on my task bar but they will not go up right next to it like I had before. There is a 1 inch space. How do I get rid of that space?

If using XP, right click on task bar and choose "Lock the Taskbar." Sometimes you have to move icons closer than they seem they should be, but when you lock the taskbar, they will move around and flatten out.

ya that's tough. i've done that before too and to be honest i haven't a clue how to get it back. it seems like what happens is that you change the order of your taskbar, start , quick launch etc. when i've moved my quick launch to the right i've never been able to get it back

Have you tried going to properties->advanced->resort?

WOW, that worked. You have to hit re-sort THEN you have to move ur quick launch toolbar over to the left. thanks man, now i know how to do it.
