Folks, I have been tasked to find a software package which will be a benefit to run everything for the company I work for. Our company does professional wiring, network installation, security system installation, and web development. We need a system that will provide a ticketing system, quote system, accounting system, and inventory. We need this program to provide automatic job numbers for customers and keep a history of all problems that have been fixed. It needs to have a section where all troubleshooting tickets go to a network manager so he can issue out the tickets to the techs. The techs need to be able to report back on these tickets and be able to put in what was wrong, how many hours they spent on the work, and send it back to the network manager. The network manager will then approve it and it will go to accounting so they can bill the customer.
Sounds complicated but we need something better than Peachtree mixed with Excel.
I just found a program called Autotask at www.autotask.com. Has anyone ever used it? This may be the answer to the problem.
