Hi Fred !!

I predict that I will reach 19600 credits before the end of the month. This is cool.

I just fixed my internet problem at home, so I just got it up and running! BTW, how would I determine how many creds (or WUs) I will put out? All of the different terms and calculation methods for different projects are confusing me

Each WU takes from 1 - 3 hours and receives 50 credits after it is matched to another similar computer and OS.

Time your production for a couple of days and take that number times about 21 days to set a target. You want a prediction for at least 7 days before the close of the Challenge, since it might take that time to clear your pending WUs.

I added the project, but am not receiving any work, anyone else have this problem?

That happens now and then. This is an alpha project.

If you have an unusual processor, it might take some time.

Go to their forum and find the thread about no work. You will see that you're not the only one.

I'm going to have to drop my quad core for the time being, I need to reseat the heat sink. Temps have slowly climbed from 35 to 50 idle.

Hey, Fellows--

I just got my 3rd box running BOINC under Linux. Would it be OK to raise my target to 205K?

Crap, I haven't switched yet. :| Oh well, I guess I'll stay with einstein for the month, and beg my wife to remind me to vote, switch, and post for contest next month.

As long as you're under your bid, you're still good. Don't you want a chance to play in Rudy's Showcase Showdown?
