People are chuckling -- and cringing -- at some wonky Photoshop jobs in Target's online swimwear section.

The sad thing is that this is their kid and teen line of swimwear and they don't think their bikini models are thin enough. This country has a serious body image problem.

Personally, I find the debate around the thigh/V gap kind of disturbing. Especially the side that demonizes it. Thigh gap is completely natural. Most of the people who are fit/athletic and have low body fat, say 10% or less, will have thigh gap... *gasp* Pretty much everyone can have a thigh gap if they work out hard enough, the only ones who cannot are people with really narrow hips. To demonize the thigh gap is to really demonize fitness.

You find it disturbing because clearly you don't understand the debate.

I think you might be missing the point
