The staff in the US Target stores usually wear a red shirt to stand out from the customers. The billion dollar retail chain tell the staff to provide their own shirts. 24-year-old Antonio McKenzie walked into a number of stores in southern Florida wearing a red polo shirt.

He helped a few customers, stacked some shelves as he made his way to the electronic section. Then after helping himself to $17-thousand worth of Apple's iPod Touch music players he just walked out unchallenged.

He was however noticed on security camera as he stood out from real employees who didn't do as much work as he did. Paul Dayton the store manager was tracking his moves on the security system as a potential employee of the month.

Customers are fucking stupid. I wore a Circuit Shitty shirt into a J.C Penny once and people tried asking me questions. The shirt says fucking Circuit Shitty on it... gah!

Now maybe they will see fit to provide shirts with a big Target logo on the back!

Never done it in Target, but I've worn a blue shirt in Best Buy and gotten it.

I use to work very near a Fry's and would often shop there at lunch time. For work, I wear a suit and tie and usually a white shirt, but I rarely wear my jacket.

How often do you think I was mistaken for a Fry's employee?

Doesn't it have to be a short-sleeved white shirt with a pocket protector and pen?

LOL. I forgot to mention that I roll up my sleeves and usually have a pen in the pocket.

Man, whenever people mistake me for a worker I always say something like 'Oh, go in the stockroom and ask for Tony to help you with that. Yeah, Tony. T-O-N-Y.'

I've gotten bitched at a few times by managers and just been like 'What? I don't work here!'

GJ. This has happened to me so many times. I'm walking around Target or Lowe's with a red shirt and people ask me for help.

I will usually answer a question or two if I have the time and do not have to move from where I am. Especially if it is an eldery person or a hot chick (which one do you think you get more often in Fry's?)

Sometimes I'd get a line forming and I'd had to let people know I do not work there.
