To spare you from reading through the currently 30 pages of comments in the above SD link, this is the lowdown.

Starting Sunday Target will lower the price of this notebook/netbook from $330 to $250 with a $50 gift card so basically $200. Most of the people in the slickdeal thread I linked to went to the store already to buy it (including me) and then are going to do a price match or return/rebuy to get the sale price on Sunday that way they don't have to worry about going to the store on Sunday and finding they are sold out. From what I've read in the SD thread, most people think you will need to do a return/rebuy on Sunday in order to get the $50 GC if you buy the notebook now instead of waiting until Sunday, but that is no big deal.

Also, the model number listed in the advertisement is wrong, the correct one if you go to the store to buy it now instead of waiting on Sunday is BZ454 not NZ454 like the advertisement list. Also, there is a 90 day return period for Target and no restocking fee if you decide to return it.

Pretty good deal for this notebook/netbook, I'm going to install XBMC and turn it into a HTPC, someone already did that in the SD thread and verified that it can playback 720P/1080P mkv's fine through XBMC.

Thanks to the popularity of tablets, laptop and mini-laptop prices like this have fallen recently. This laptop is very similar to the HP dm1z except

-Has 1 bank for ram, cant upgrade past 4GB, the HP can go to 8GB
-It also makes a loud beep whenever the adapter is plugged or unplugged.

The dm1z also has a processor that is 60% faster and it has better battery life, then again the dm1z is $400ish vs $200ish.

Isn't this a netbook (not a notebook)?

This is a netbook and not a notebook, it is one of the premium netbooks with a faster cpu than a standard single core atom, it has 2 gbs of memory, much better screen, and the standard version of an operating system instead of it being stripped down.

It is not an ultraportable computer for the c-50 is significantly slower than an intel culv (core 2 technology), the e-350 is an ultraportable processor though, as well the new intel ulv processors based off (arrenadale and sandy bridge technologies).

It is not an ultrabook (an upcomming term that intel is pushing for the 2012 market.) Ultrabooks will have sandybridge or ivybridge processors, be less than .8 inches thick (the macbook air is .95 inches thick), have a ssd, and be less than $1000 dollars.

Just to let anyone know that was intending to use this for HD Netflix, it does not work for that purpose. The CPU chokes on Silverlight that Netflix uses.

Are you sure? My dm1z has problems with HD netflix in a browser window due to silverlight, but the netflix app in windows media center works perfectly with no slowdown. Have you tested netflix inside windows media center?
