I saw at my local target today Bowie, Maryland Eddie Bouer (sp?) 32oz Lexan water bottles for $1.48.
they were 75% off usually 5.99.
They are made out of Lexan Plastic which is almost unbreakable.
Normal use it would never break.
Also they claim to be odor and stain proof.
They had over 100 i'd say on the back wall near sportting goods.

also Fans were 75% off
and window AC was 30% off

Damn! I have two of these! Paid $8 for one back in the spring and got the other for $5 a couple of weeks ago. They're wonderful, except that since they're plastic they have zero insulation but also that any condensation beads straight to the surface they're on. Also the plastic itself isn't breakable but the lids are :) <--- speaks from experience

if you have the wide or narrow mouth ones similiar to the nalgene bottles, you can buy new lids for about 3 bucks at places like REI (they were made for the nalgene brand but could work on others) though at these prices.. it's cheaper to just buy another :p

Me too! Well, $6 at mine but still. That's a darn good price now! I may just get another because of it.

in my area they are clearing out fans and a/c units. i didn't look at the a/c but the fans (raised stand, medium-large size) are as low as $3 and change. just a few days ago, they were clearing the same item for $5 (too bad i bought it the higher price!)

I saw these at target (Columbus) also, $1.48. They had these on clearance about 3 months ago, and my gf picked one up with a $1 coupon that came in the mail, so $0.51 with tax. Good deal.

Just got back from my Target here in Rock Hill, SC, and they had the bottles down to $.98. They had tons of them.

They're not the Eddie Bauer brand, but they're still good bottles.

I picked up a couple of the Eddie Bauer bottles a few months back on clearance (they were more like $3 at the time). They're not bad, but the biggest difference between them and the Nalgene bottles is that the Nalgenes have a much better designed lid that is easier to get on and off. Still, for a buck-fifty or less, these are a good value.

Actually, they are breakable. I dropped mine and the cap broke off, so I figure it's useless... so I ran over it w/a car. Front wheel didn't do anything, but the 2nd roll w/the rear wheel cracked it down the side!
