Most of the Furio furniture went 75% off today. The Cerritos store on Bloomfield still had 3 small desks w/hutch for 24.94, large desk with hutch for 44.94, 3 tv/vcr stands, 1 entertainment center, 2 storage units, 2 drawer night stand, telephone stand, and a few other items. The store on South St and Downey still had a few asst items. Signal Hill store on Atlantic also has some furniture left. I picked up the Armoire for 34.94. Here's a pic of the small desk, it's the same one that Maverick319 bought Link courtesy of Maverick319. I almost bought one myself because the price is so good. In the end I came to my senses since I really have no use for it.

Another thing to check are the vacuums. Fantom Fury went for 42.44 and the hepa filters are also on clearance for 9.94. There are 4 Eureka vacuums too. 1 is a soft side for 12.44, The Boss 10amp (black) for 14.94, 2 of the Eureka Whirlwinds, one has the dirt detector 32.94 and 39.94.

There are a few irons that went 75% off today. I didn't check the price but I know 2 of them are Philips brand. I think there is Sunbeam iron too.

The appliances are still holding at 50%. They should go 75% next Thursday and I'll be there when they do.

Updated 6-6

Just got back and found the Toro 16" rechargeable hedge trimmers - model 51595 - marked down from 79.99 to 19.94. They also had the Toro rechargeable weed wacker 7" cut path - model 51556 - marked down from 54.99 to 13.74.

I also saw some Timex Indiglo watches for 75% off. They had men and womens styles priced from 7.74 to 11.24. Some didn't look to bad.

Another thing to check is the patio furniture. I saw 2 sets that were marked 75% off.

Update for 6-7

I just got back and cleaned up on the 75% off appliances. I got...

T-fal Avante Toaster - 8.74
Oster Toastlogic Toaster - 7.74
Hamilton Beach Electric Knife - 4.24
Oster Electric Knife - 4.94
Oster White Belgium Waffle Maker - 6.24
Oster Chrome Belgium Waffle Maker - 9.94
2 Oster Juice Extractors - 9.94 ea
2 Nesco Roasters - 12.44 ea
Presto Cool Touch Large Electric Griddle - 9.94
Deni Freshlock Food Sealer - 14.94
3 boxes of Freshlock bags - 3.74 ea
2 Presto Under Counter Can Openers - 8.74 ea
Rival 1qt Crock Pot - 2.44

There are alot more items than the ones I've listed. They have coffee makers, breadmakers, hand and stand mixers, other brands of toasters (DeLonghi, Hamilton Beach), Blenders, coffee grinders, etc. the list just keeps on going. If you're interested in any of these items, you better get there quick. One of the stores I went to was pretty much cleaned out. The other store still had a few items that weren't even marked so people didn't know they were clearanced.

Update 6-21

If you bought the hedgetrimmers, they marked them down again. The price now is $9.94. It appears no one bought any at one of my stores so I bought the last 3 and will be returning 2 so I can get the difference back. This is (about) the only way you'll be able to get the $10 back unless you find a real nice csr. If your stores still have them this is now a flaming deal, 79.99 trimmers for 9.94!

Would be nice to think that these deals are all over, but the Austell, GA Target never has the prices quoted for clearance here, or anything close.

From what I've seen of the Metro-Atlanta stores, you actually have to use one of the price scanners to see the prices -- after a certain level, they don't seem to post the "correct" prices -- it rings up less at the counter and obviously, NO ONE ever complains that the price they paid was lower than the posted price :p

All I can say is try. Then again some store managers are just <insert colorful characterization here> and may pull stuff -- don't know what the store regulations are on a national level -- any high level Target employees (managers etc) out there to verify?

The important thing to remember about Target is that all stores don't have the same markdown schedule. It all depends on how many of the item they have left.

Boogak, yes, the dark walnut one.

Bobby Ribs, I know the Target in Signal Hill still had some yesterday. I didn't check today since I don't need another vacuum. I still have an unopened Dirt Devil that I picked up on clearance a few months back. The person you spoke with at the store probably scanned the new blue or black Eureka boss. Both of those are 12 amps. You need to find the one that says 10 amps. You can always buy the display vacs. It's not like they've been used. The store on South & Downey still had the displays.

And yes these prices are national. If the items aren't marked down at your store yet they will be. You have to scan everything. Sometimes the items aren't marked at all and other times they are marked but not with the current price.

I don't know if I should post this in fear that my favorite Target will now be cleaned out, but the one in Sandy, UT still has a bunch of the $45 desks. It's a big "L" shaped desk. I picked one up myself. It looks like it was orignally $175, then they marked it down to $125, and finally to $45.

Thanks for the heads up on the clearance items. Now, for a vaccuum! :)

UTmtnbiker, I know the desk you're talking about. I think they call it the "scissor" desk. Pretty sharp looking too. I haven't seen those around my stores in quite awhile.

I told my bro in AZ about the clearance and he said the Target at Arrowhead Mall (75th Ave?) still has quite a bit of furniture. He said some of it is marked, some isn't. He checked the price on the vacuums and they are coming up full price. He's gonna try his luck at some other Target's.

Unclebud, they should know (ya right) that if the item is scanning "not on file" it went 75% off aloooong time ago. Usually if you tell them that they will go ahead and give it to you. So, is the dark brown armoire still scanning at 97.90? Mine had the same sticker on it but I knew it was wrong.

Just a side note, there are alot of other furniture items on clearance too. I don't recall seeing anything over $50. I didn't list every specific piece but it is the Furio line. There are only about 3 pieces (2 desks and a hutch that I saw) that carry the Furio name that didn't get marked down at all. The new line Target will be carrying is Renovations.

I agree with GTFan. The Target stores around here (Pleasanton, CA) NEVER have any of these items on clearance. Its starting to get really annoying going there and never finding any good deals on the items mentioned.

hey carmann, how's it going?
i realized today that the tags with the red bars (on the shelf) just scan whatever price is on the tag and not an updated one
i didn't have a box of the dark walnut to take to the scanner available
yet :)
and yeah, you know i know about the price, but they are so stupid
their mouths just drop when i tell them no, that $.00 is not right
i will persevere
i have taken precautionary measures :)

Unclebud, if you need a copy of the receipt for the dark brown one, let me know. I don't have a scanner but I can fax it to you.

As for the $.00 price, you should have found the dumbest looking cashier and said that the price was indeed correct. Don't they know that Target just gives the old displays away;)

you know when they give me a price that doesn't end in four, but $.00

before i forget, target has some garden-something brand that is 75% off
can't remeber if it was posted before or not because i'm completely uninterested
those minidiscs are another story
what are the sonys md in your area, if you don't mind me asking
tia

edit: NOW i remember, some of those lamps (the chrome ones--design with style?) are 75%
however others are only 50%

I mentioned the Garden Place items on a previous Target thread. I think those went 75% off on Monday. I have no interest in them although that dolphin lawn ornament was kinda cute. I remember seeing the lamps on 1st markdown but I don't pay attention to those either.

The md's are 99.94 and 124.94. I'm hoping they will go down again since they're only 50% off. But you know how it's been in the electronics section lately. I got my eye on a few other things in that area too. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about;)

carmann, Did any of your stores have the 4 drawer light colored dressers left? I have been waiting for them to go down, and I guess I missed them!! I have been going to 3 Targets (2 SanFernando and 1 Northridge) every Thursday. It slowly narrowed down to 1 store with the dressers in stock, and this morning at 8:00 they were already gone :(. If there is a chance, I would be willing to take the drive!!! Let me know, thanks
