And, if you're looking for an accessory for these, BB has the Apple TV for the normal price of $99.99 but you get a $25 iTunes GC with it and, if you order online for instore pickup, you get a coupon code good for $5 off your next purchase. I used that to get some batteries for free when I picked up the Apple TV. I believe the GC offer is only good through tomorrow.

Sure the GPU performance of the iPad Mini and iPad 2 is completely adequate for the resolution. That is why both devices perform much better with iOS7 than say a iPad 3 or iPhone 4.

The issue is that the CPU in those devices is MUCH MUCH slower than the 5C or even a freaking Moto G. Eventually the GPU can't do everything, especially if you are wanting an iPad as a web surfing device.

The iPad 2 is half as fast as the iPhone 5C and the 5C is half as fast as the 5s.

If I was buying for myself I would get a cheap iPad 4 (by far the best iPad value right now)

I disagree there. It's 20% cheaper than the iPad Air but less than half as fast and is thicker and heavier. Also, no Metal API or 64-bit. If you're spending that much on an iPad, you might as well get the Air.
