Taping AOL cd's to my ceiling....

What's the best tape to use to hold them up there, but not rip the paint? I can do a 5' x 7' section right now; when i finish the room, I'll post pics for ya.

you could try some 3M tapes. they have a huge assortment that will not remove paint

3M sounds like a good idea. I've always said "If its sticky, 3M makes it best." ok so maybe i didn't say it, but I atleast thought it a lot.

Even if you do get tape that would regularly rip the paint if you just pulled it off, all you have to do is get a hair drier to warm up the glue a little so you can pull it off with no problem.

thats a good idea
i have over a thousand here in a box...i was gonna cut them, glue them, and sew them together to make a suit of aol armor
doubtful that i could get it done before halloween though

Ok so I'm lazy. I could get it done with some help in a few trips to walmart. That said, the armor is a good idea, maybe once the ceiling is done I'll start on that project

Use a hot glue gun the glue dosent leave residue or anything if u pull on teh cd it will just come off...

I used that sticky tack stuff when my roommate and I put up our collection of AOL/Netscape/Compuserve CD's on our ceiling in the old dorm room. Never could cover the whole ceiling, though.
