Medina through threw 1450 punches! :Q I couldnt believe it! Dominated the entire performance. Guy just wouldnt stop punching the whole friggin fight, yet they give it 114-114, 115-113, 115-113 to Tapia. WTF! Medina doubled tapia's punches, tripled his jabs thrown (1005 vs 313), and hit at the same percentage as medina.

what a crock of crap.

Yeah it happens way to often not to be rigged in some way. Or the boxers arent the only people getting paid.

I regularly watch boxing on HBO and Showtime. My wife even likes watching it. It's pitiful how many fights are blatantly fixed. The commentators even say the same thing. Boxing just keeps on going, though. Who knows who's getting paid. All parties involved may be in on it. You just never know.
I missed the Tapia fight tonight, but there was another fixed one last week. I can't rememer who was fighting, but it was obvious the winner did not really win.
All this BS just makes the sport look like shiznit. They are hurting themselves, and the sport itself. Money hungry biznitches.
I still watch, though. Ever now and again, the judges get it right. As for PPV fights, I don't even bother. A waste of money. Who wants to watch a fixed fight for $50 or more? I'll just watch the replay the weekend after the fight.

Castillo vs. Mayweather....Castillo robbed!

Yeah, the commentators repeatedly made fun of the judges for both castillo and the tapia fight. They were saying everything short of "rigged". Pretty amusing as it was obviously clear that the featherweight fight was fixed. Didnt see the castillo fight but I'll read that thread.
