Should a tape drive device (DAT drive, SCSI) show up as a device letter under My Computer like CD-Roms, etc. or just through backup software?? This is for W2K op system.
 
It should just show up in your backup software. However, I think some drives have software that make it show up with a drive letter.
 
Thanks guys. That's what I thought. It doesn't show up so I guess that's normal. It shows in device manager fine and in backup software though.
