We currently have an ArcVault 12 that we intend on upgrading to an ArcVault 24. We will also be purchasing new LTO-4 tapes. We control the whole thing with bacula on a linux server.
My question is this: is it possible (or rather, advisable or not) to mix different tape types in volume pools? I'd hate to waste the 24 LTO-3 tapes we currently have, considering how expensive tapes are.
