I can't speak for iPhone but this app is awful on android. I'll use it though, only because it's slightly less awful than atforums.mobi. But seriously the developer needs some UI training because this is just terrible.

This took some time to get HQ on board with, mostly for reasons Evadman had outlined half a year ago:

Adding a 3rd party plugin will add 1 more possible intrusion point to the forum that will need to be verified and monitored. Any 3rd party plugin will also add complexity to the administration process of the forum as well. In addition, it sets precedant that AT will install 3rd party aps, which vB isn't too keen with on their paid support.

But, thanks to a requesting user furnishing us with the names of some vB forums our size (this was key) that had successfully implemented it, we were able to get our code guy, John Campion on board, and then we finally got Anand to sign off on it.

Hmm I wish there was some demo/trial of it that I could use to see if it was worthwhile :\. I normally just use the browser, but I guess it could make it significantly faster by avoiding loading all of that extraneous text when all I need is the post text.
