Have been using it for a couple of years. It would auto logon me into AT.

Due to the security breach early this month, I changed my AT password for laptop use.

AT detected wrong password from Tap a Talk and I know have to enter the new moniker and password everytime. For tbe laptop, the browser remembers the new password, no sign on required.

How do I cause TT to remember the new password. Hunting around in settings did mot reveal any clues.

Do I need to uninstall and re install/initialize?

I pressed the trashcan icon to get rid of the anandtech account in TT, then used the search function to add a new anandtech forum link and stuck my new credentials in there.
