they said urinary tract infection that spread to other parts of the body

That sounds like sepsis. My mom had a similar issue and died the next day.

I'm sorry buddy, thats terrible.

Thanks for the condolence.. It was nearly a decade ago, but it seems like it was yesterday.

Once sepsis starts attacking your organs the fatality rate is 100%. The silver lining with my mom is she died very quickly.
