We know that tanning brings on health problems when done in excess, so one alternative is creams or sprays. Yes, this thread is about vanity.
Does anybody know if these things, which are dying the skin (they do not bring out skin pigment in the same way sun does, I don't think; I believe they do dye it), are likely to have other health risks?
That aside, which have people tried?
I've tried a couple of neutragenas over the years. I do recommend going with the dark ones, and the ones I've tried do work well. I've tried some cream one and then also a spray one. They are not as good as a tan but pretty close, and they look quite realistic these days. I am not optimistic about using them on face because even a tiny streak can cause a problem. Ideally they should be put on quite thin over time and work best in conjunction with a real tan.
Never put these on and then go tanning for real because the sweat, before they have dried and fully absorbed, will wash them away. Don't ask how I know.
