I actually called SETI and talked to them about using their tankless unit, according to them, their highest output unit could not supply enough hot water to run more than one thing at a time (shower, dishwasher, etc.). They did not get into multiple units in series, perhaps because of the cost. Since I have a dishwasher and several bathrooms, it was not viable for my situation. These units are big overseas, but remember this is America, where excess is best. ;)

Soft water good! Hard water Bad!. Hard water is what kills the tank style water heaters. The first thing to go is the lower heater element. It becomes insulated with a layer of lime scale. It eventually overheats and fries itself.

Hard water makes cleaning virtually impossible. Places that have crystalline rock have markedly lower sales in water conditioners compared to those with karst topography.

Take Florida for example. It has a lot of rain and very few rivers. The drainage is subterranean. The aquifers that make up Florida are a dissolving sponge of layers of limerock.

You will get cleaner by standing out in a thunderstorm than taking a shower especially in south Florida.

Rain water Best, soft water next best. Har water is bad in every way except the municipal supplies are certified safe to drink.

afaik these babies are xpensive as...assuming ur r referring 2 those ones that heat water on demand...much more efficent 2 have a hot water heater that heats a medium sized tank with good insulation, but depnds on ur daily usage patternsa i guess-wait this would still b better if u coul program teh heat times 2 suit when u use it...

holy hell batman, i think we need a spelling lesson.

..I've seen them in action..a bit noisy and you must comply with code restrictions for safe installation. If your water pres.is good it should work fine. And may save money over time because there's no pilot light(elect.ignition) and is only on when you need it. And uses less space..it's wall mounted. I've seen em at home depot...
