Tankless Water Heater Owners?

I wanna go tankless, my watr heater is ~8 years old, pop off valve is starting to leak, it's efficiency (wh) is pretty well toast after all these years.

Looking @ this one: 425 HN Aquastar, it's even got a little water driven turbine in it to generate the spark to light it when needed (won't need to run 120v to it).

Anyone tankless?

 
A friend of mine has one. Says it doesn't heat the water hot enough, and is thinking about putting another one in series with it.
