Tammy - worst movie ever

Received a free ticket to see the movie Tammy, it was so so bad, found myself browsing and checking emails instead. They wrote this movie on a napkin during lunch. From the trailer, it appears Tammy is a criminal, when she is not at all.

Was expecting a comedy, wound up bored to death, was so happy when it was finally over. Everyone in the theater booed at the end.

Melissa McCarthy may think she is a female Chris Farley,----------n o t even close. McCarthy is a horrible actress and should stop making movies.

Do not see this movie, it will be in the Walmart junk movie bin very soon.

It was absolutely assassinated by most critics, but it can't be the worst movie ever because Battlefield Earth.

Shocking I tell ya!

It's funny when you say it was written on a napkin during lunch...I had the TV on in the background the other day and they were interviewing Melissa McCarthy. She made the comment that "her team" (or whatever) had been working on it for many years but were waiting to assemble the right cast. Probably meaning it was so bad they couldn't get the green light until a moderately big name like Susan Sarandon was roped into it.

She's funny in Mike & Molly.... but that's it! Identity Thief was not even close to being funny, had no expectations of humor for this one either.

There's no way it was worse than Down to You or Movie 43. I'd mention Children of Men, but that would start another movie war. 😛

Some actors take the money and run despite a piss poor screenplay/project.

Some wise actors on-the-rise purposely avoid such scripts and give up a really nice paycheck as it can sink one's promising movie career right quick.

McCarthy seems to be in the first camp.

the one she did with sandra bullock was actually pretty funny

The Heat? Ugh, I just didn't enjoy that movie. At best, I could give it an "okay", but I just didn't think they did a great job with the whole "Odd Couple"/"Lethal Weapon" approach.

Yeah, I wouldn't see it again. But after being drug to it I expected worse.
