I was supposed to interview this girl for a position in my company yesterday. She called and let us know that she had the swine flu and needs a few days to get well. I did think that that was kind of odd that she'd mention that.

How expensive is it?

$50 copay.

My co-pay is never over $9.

What was the retail cost?

I paid ~$110 for 5 pills around 2 years ago. I paid ~$65 four years ago. Price doubled in 2 years time. I don't know the current price but I bet it's even higher.

Be glad you are just on Tamaflu, my brothers good friend got H1N1 along with pneumonia early this week, now he's in a coma at the hospital and they put him on dialysis earlier today cause his kidneys are shutting down.

He was in a car accident years ago that beat him up very bad so he's not a strong person anyway, the doctors actually were surprised he survived that wreck.. I hope he can surprise them again this time around too.

I love my free health care!

They have free healthcare in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam?

OP I agree, back in the day I hated those $50 deductables. They kept pushing the newest and best medicine outside the formulary to make us pay it more often, unless you wanted some crappy generic version.

Heres to us fixing at least some healthcare issues this year as opposed to doing nothing at all. It would be such a wasted effort. :(
