Talladega Nights: Is this film worth renting?

I've already seen both Click and Sentinel, these are IMO the only other 'new' films that are worth renting ATM.

So, what say you?

It is worth renting, yes. After watching it, I was glad I didn't pay to see it while it was in theaters, but I was glad I watched it at home.

simple fact is if you like Will Farrell you will like Talledega nights.
Is it his best movie? No. Is it classic Farrell? Yes.
Again, if you enjoy WIll Farrell humor, you will love TN.

Put it this way, Days of Thunder, it is not.

if you thought it was going to be Days of Thunder (arguably one of the worst Tom Cruise movies EVER (and thats saying something)), then your movie review credentials are 100% revoked

not a Ferrell fan I see? too bad. i don't really care, because I have liked all his movies. they make me smile and laugh.
i don't require good RT ratings for those style of comedies, because all of those types of comedies get weak reviews anyway. and they are all love 'em or hate 'em. i happen to love 'em. im glad Talladega Nights came with my PS3, even though its one of the worst BD movies (as far as image quality goes), it's still a nice free grab. but i also so it in theaters, and my parents did too (i saw it for free since I worked there, and my parents saw it for free a little while later because I could get family in for free too).

Exactly.

anchorman level is a great level to be at though

I liked it. In Ferrell movies, I liked it less than Elf but more than Anchorman (which I hated). Not a masterpiece, but I was entertained.

You are correct, but Days of Thunder just didn't suck as bad, but it still sucked. The only thing I enjoyed about Days of Thunder, was the novilty of hearing race cars going around on my new (back then) Denon home theater system.
