I've had uverse internet for about a year now and I haven't had any problems. It's never gone down, and I always get the rated speed.

Don't have uverse TV though.

Completely agree. NO bandwidth caps (AWESOME) and very good and reliable speed. HDTV just absolutely blows.

I've had Uverse for over 2 years. My only real complaint is the picture quality for the HD stations. They push out 5.5-6 Mbps MPEG4 streams to the boxes. I'd be happier if they'd move that to 8 Mbps streams, but I can dream.

Switched from Comcast -> Uverse when it became available here and I couldn't switch back fast enough. U-verse HD blows (seriously, it looks awful), it wound up being more expensive, the install took like 8 hours, their tech support sucks, etc.. etc...

Frankly, looking back, I don't know why I left Comcast. I've always been fairly satisfied with them. I pay for their faster internet (20mbps) and get a decent TV pacakage and everything works fine.
