How can talk radio hosts have any credibility when the commercials that are aired during these shows are almost all scams? I know every one of their sleep numbers and they pitch formulas to lose weight and grow hair. Especially the ones that were recorded by the hosts.

It doesn't matter if they are political shows, advice shows, even consumer affairs shows.

They are all snake oil salesmen.

Sometimes a show can be entertaining and political in nature. I don't think the advertisers matter at all, if you judged every show by that there would be nothing but crap out there.

Radio shows are driven by revenue. The host isn't always a believer in the product he hawks, but has to do so or take a hike. What would you do? I would read the spiel and put my paycheck in my pocket.
