lately i've been useing the UMP instead of MP5 like i used too... the UMP only holds a 25 round mag. yet it packs a punch like a mofo... with the UMP you wanna first open fire at their body. then work your way down to their feet to compensate for the recoil... same with the m4 and the machine gun....

i used to use the P90 a lot but htat just doens't do it for me now.. it's fast as hell but the bullets are weak!

when im a T i use either the commando or the ak... snipeing i use the scout or sig552 *no awp/m*

only thing i havne't really understood are the hand guns... i know the CT's hand gun is stronger than the glock.. and the D-Egale is hte strongest... but the other HG's seem to be like pea shooters

on the subject of CS... has anyone played the Urban Terror Mod for the Quake 3 engine? IMO its better than CS... dont know why i think so... but it just has a better feel to it to me.... If anyone wants to playsometime, i can be found a lot of nights on the Carnagge server ( /connect ut.carnagge.com ) but the server is empty most of the time... i'm trying to change that...

Why does almost no one use the burst fire mode on the Glock? If you use that burst fire, on the first round, you can easily take out CTs like nothing. On the pistols round, its a great thing to have the burst because your first encounter won't usually kill you in 2 hits. You will have time to aim at the head/chest with the burst and take 'em out with just one burst.

How 'bout the P228? Its not as powerful as the deagle, but its fast and much more accurate than the deagle. A must have for the pistols round.

the usp can be the best handgun in the right hands(imo)
the greatest advantage that it has is that the first shot is dead on even when running.
deagle is great for taking out two opponents(line em up and use it's penetrating power to damage them both, plus 1 headshot kills!)
glock...eh, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, depends on how good you are at getting headshots.
5-7...same as glock

i do i do! but i usually use p228 over anyguns. and they have really good skin for it that looks really really nice! (u can get them from skinshack).
also they have a skin for ur colt that looks very realistic (much darker then the one now).
damn it i want to play CS NOW!! but i have 4.3 hours to go.

and yeah i've tryed that mod for Quake3... it's fun... but it seems to cartoonish.. needs some improvement...

i think the best thing about CS are maps and hte weapon skins... very realistic

when im kicking ass in the game and the rounds are almost over.. i drop all my weapons and just go knife... you'll be suprised how many kills you can get by walkijng and sneeking up on campers... first use the 2nd fire with the knife.. knock off like 50 health.. then right away go into the slashing.. kills instantly almost

I dunno. First three rounds I always use the deagle to save up money, plus it is effective as long as you don't do mad rush

Recently I use the second shotgun (can't remember the name) Close quarters it's amazing, fast ROF and powerful.

I have been alternating P90 and MP5, when I'm a CT I always buy the Colt, as a T I don't use a rifle, I stay with a SMG

The SIG is a very good gun, but it's just not worth buying. Why spend however many hundred dollars on it when you can just pick up a USP, or start with one for free? I'd much rather have a grenade or armor than the minimal improvements a SIG will get me.

I don't use it often..but when I do...I love the machine gun...that thing is one sweet mofo. You have to start spraying before you enter a corner cuz it takes two long to start firing, but man oh man does it pack a punch!!

I love to jump around my opponents and start spraying 'em with bullets and usuaully they'll have to reload (before I do anyways) and then u just pump it right into 'em

Haha... just came back from playing CS. There was a skin hacker/god ode cheater so me and my friend went around stabing his head and annoying him. lol!

P228 is the 2nd best pistol in the game imo. But I still use Deagle.

If i'm a CT I like the Bullpup, the magnification gives you an advantage and the recoil can be controlled as long as you use 3 shot bursts. Colt is decent and is deadly at medium range due to low recoil and the silencer can help delay being located.

If i'm a T, I like the Commando due to it's scope, but it is hard to control the recoil, and if you panic and fire fully auto you spray everywhere but on target it seems. Lately I have taken to using the AK due to it's incredible punch. But you have to really keep it 2-3 shot burst only.

The machine gun is fun to go crazy with as long as you have back-up and are attacking near-death enemy. I love to stand behind boxes/doors and spray thru them to soften up the enemy on the other side while backed up by team members

I wish the pump-shotgun had a more realistic reload time on it. It would be the ultimate close-in battle wepon. But it's fun to jump and pump with and does great close in.

I think it all depends on the map and style of the play for the round. If one side is contantly rushing, don't bother with sniper rifles and assaults...go SMG, shotty, and lots of grenades. Same goes for if your team is rushing...I usually choose to hang back and sniper or assault rifle it.

Unfortunately most public servers people are running around like it's deathmatch. It is very difficult to get organized. So usually I'll just stick with 1-2 other people and we form a small supporting unit.

But as far as weapons I stay away from:

Sig P228 = Too expensive for what it is.
FN 5-7 = Same
Elites = Only for the style baby.
Mac10 = no aiming necessary (not that you'll hit anything anyway)
Para = really difficult weapon to use...it's got all those bullets but you can't spray!
Sig G3 (auto-snipe) = it has horrible aim and takes way too many shots to kill.

Everything I like using. My personal faves are the TMP, UMP, AWP, and anything else that ends in "P"!
