hahaha what a twat, he clayed a brand new car.... Straight wax would look 99% identical, seeing as new cars have very little damage in the clearcoat.

I would have saved some on the wax and bought a faster/better car...

The first thing I did with my GTO was clay bar-ing...the amount of crap in there from improper cleanings at the dealership in addition to random rail dust from transportation was quite considerable. I listed a LOT of junk off of it, even after a proper cleaning.

Looking at where he was parking I think it will be keyed very soon with a shine like that.

Also, look at where hes washing his car. If I was the owner of the car catching the over spray from the hose Id be pissed.

Wow... that's amazing.

I'm not sure if I understand this correctly - did they correct variations in the clearcoat? If so, wow!

Probably not, maybe similar styling though. Currently it has the front fascia of the Aura with some other cosmetic bits.

It is the new "Ion."

It's called the Saturn Astra now:

The VXR is just the tricked out version.

Im suprised at how much of a direct copy Saturn cars are of Vauxhall/Opel. They don't even change the interior or anything! Wow

Why should they have to? It's a GM brand. And most Americans don't even know what an "Opel" Astra is and haven't seen one before.

Think of all the work that goes into making a gourmet meal and its gone in 5-10 minutes. Lots of people have hobbies that seem silly or wasteful at first glance. He obviously enjoys his. Good on him...

Oh, I didn't realise they were owned by GM, why dont they use the Opel or Vauxhall name? Why Saturn? Or was Saturn an established brand that they brought out a while back?
