So Pakistan catches the guy and Obama sweeps in to take the Credit. Didn't he win the Nobel Prize in the same manner?

What part of "joint operation" do you not grasp??

The Taliban’s top military commander was captured several days ago in Karachi, Pakistan, in a secret joint operation by Pakistani and American intelligence forces, according to American government officials.

I would expect somebody who avatar is of a blackman to be more intellegent that you.....you give a bad name to all the intelligent black people that I know...

Pakistan said the Quetta shura is not in Quetta for many years. The info minister proclaims loudly that the QShura was in Quetta since 2003 and has now packed up and left for Karachi.

The ISI still says the shura is in Afghanistan and they are not in Pakistan. How is it then this guy is caught in Karachi [the NY of pakistan]

http://news.bbc.co.uk/olmedia/1005000/images/_1009540_paki_karachi_map150.gif

India Iran and Afghans have been telling the US that OBL is sitting in a ISI safehouse and eating samosas and biriyani every day. The stupid US State Dept ;pves to sleep with the pakistani generals and buy this crock of shit [that only good taliban is is pakistan and that too only in the tribal region] and pressures the US army to back off. stupid politics. Then the US gives pakistan billions of dollars while pakistan has the US by its balls .. This is one funny story, if not for the poor brave US soldeirs dying in afghanistan and poor civilians dying in India

I wonder if he'll give anything up, and also wonder what it means for Taliban morale.

Hah, you know what we (technologically advanced NATO nations) should do when we capture a guy like this? Use CGI and video editing to make him confess/repent or blubber like a little girl on video, and "leak" it to the press. We should make use of all types of technical wizardry to take the fight to these assholes.

I have a better Idea. Superglue him into a pedobear uniform. Now that's a deterrent.

Waterboard him and he'll talk. Oh wait, we don't do that anymore.

Nope. Now we read them rights, assign them lawyers from the AG's firm, and attempt to give them civilian trials so maybe they can get off on a technicality.

The ACLU doesn't protect foreign nationals being held in foreign military prisons.

This. Retarded comment fail.

I've said this before, but there are boards that cater to this sort of idiocy ( free republic comes to mind); feel free relocate yourself there.

If we waterboard all defendants, the judicial process would be a lot simpler.

I honestly think you don't have the least bit idea what your avatar stands for.

On a related note, it's amusing that the people that wrap themselves in flag are the first ones to trample the ideas that it stands for.

I kinda like this idea.

Don't forget the segment shot from an Israeli sea-side resort. " Shalom, brothers, this is Mullah Baradar ... "
