taking delivery of private party vehicle

I just purchase a 94 civic from a private party seller. Will I have to get a temporary operating permit in order to drive the car home or? The car is in PA, approximately 60 miles from where I live.

btw, I am in New Jersey and I have the bill of sale, title, and insurance for the car.

In Illinois, the bill of sale is all the permit you need. It is good for 10 days from date of sale, then you have to order the plates.

I'm from Jersey!
But I can't confirm 🙂
I always had my own tags already so when I went to DMV to transfer the title and everything, I just registered it with my old tags, screwed'em on and away I went.
