Take THAT mozilla

geez, what do you have against mozilla? A freeware alternative. sure they've gone slowly along.. but it's pretty decent. no one is perfect.

cuz, y'know, there aren't any security holes in internet explorer.

mozilla is shaping up to be quite the browser.

Yes, MS did a good job of beating Netscape into the ground by abusing its monopoly power (want to run visual studio? you need IE! want to run Money? you need IE! want to distribute the common controls? make your users install IE!), and Netscape has never recovered.

Too bad we'll never know what browsers would be like by now if there had been any real competition to MS for the last few years.

Let's see you say that for the next IE security hole that is found. A security hole is a security hole, it doesn't matter if it's open/closed source, free, or forced upon you.

If you want a good browser, go here.

ps. the ha ha is directed at those of you who religiously recommend mozilla/linux/bsd's and the rest of the open source community. you guys have no sense of humor and probably will take offense to this, but since I already typed it, it's getting posted.

Well, it's a good thing that Mozilla 1 is out now isn't it. j/k 😉
I'd use Opera, but I'm a cheap bastard.
