Recently, German scientists dug 50 meters and discovered small pieces of copper. After studying them, the Germans announced that 25,000 years ago the ancient Germans had a nationwide telephone network!

Whoa... what really surprised me was that Bell didn't make any money from it! I thought he made so much money, that he started Bell Research labs... the biggest research lab in the world until Microsoft came along (and might still be bigger than MS).
