everyone go to TFNN for a week

Would me be welcome thur? I'd probably be 4x more obnoxious.

unpossible!

By the way, I expected this to be a forced layoff thread. I'm winding down my 3 weeks off and have actually started to like it. If I could afford it, I would do more!

Talk about coincidence. I thought I would take this week off so I could focus on creating paid how to's at another site. I even logged out here. But then I logged back in and the rest is history. 🙁

I love fusetalk that much.

Yeah, I enjoyed my furlough week off also. I wouldn't mind another. 🙂

Anand can use the hot deals forum to make money. Sponsors post deals. Purchases through those deals give a cut to Anand. It's there already an nVidia tie-in here?

I am pretty sure the forums don't make Anand any money.

Which would be better. Everyone stop posting for a week or everyone constantly click ads for a week. We need to get Anand's attention before he will fix up this abortion called Fusetalk.

Obviously carrying on as normal doesn't mean shit.

(anyone think Zuni/Jason Clark is embarrassed by his shitty performance?)

I think the switchover will occur after DNF is released (and its supposedly been canceled.)

If everyone took a week off...basically boycotted the forums for a week...wouldn't that just reduce the amount of bandwidth used and thus save Anand money?
If so, why would he mind?

Hell, maybe the cost savings would be so great that he'd just shut down some/most of the forums.

It's not like OT or P&N make him any money.

Yea, right. You keep calling for Change, but when's it going to happen?

And how are they going to pay for these hardware improvements? There are too many things this place has to spend money on, with money going to all those Chinese hardware manufacturers rather than into our own forums.

And don't get me started on the minimal employment figures. Sure, the critical jobs over at the main page are filled, but how many people are working over here? It's just one guy!

The rich one gets richer, while we continue to lose traffic and participation. It's sad, really, and I for one blame the minority running everything.
