Take a look at what I've been up to...

I've been meaning to have everyone here check out the website with my case mods. The invatation didn't go out before now because I didn't feel there was enough content to justify asking for a review. So, point your browser to www.pdxpc.tk and then let me know what you think.

awesome, i really like that 3.5" bezel with the neon button and the fan switches you made. i'd make one if i knew how to do the wiring...

<< nice...

I like how neat and clean the insides are..

Good Job~~~

i'll second that. you did an excellent job.

maybe, when you have time, setup an article how you made those baybus things 😛

Wow, thanks for the compliments. Since several of you asked for a wiring schematic of the fanbus I shall put forth my mad MS Paint skillz and bang one out ASAP. I've been commissioned to build another case, this one with a "bubble-type" window and blue Glow-Wire. I was also able to secure a large number of illuminated rocker switches online from Radio Shack. These are the kind I wanted to use before, but was unable to find locally. My full tower is now nearly gagging for a window to be installed. I will be designing a custom shaped unit complete with my website address etched into the plexi. I will post update notices here in the future.

Let me start with an apology. I had promised to put together an article on how I wired the baybus, but I've been too busy with painting my second modified case to do so. This week has also been very exciting for me. My first case mod won an award in the PC Club Case Modification Contest. Plus, I finally got my custom case badges in. Whoot! For all the details, head back over to www.pdxpc.tk and see for yourself. I will try finishing the wiring diagram this week at work.

😉

The custom case badges were ordered from www.securisysagency.com. I found out about them on the Hot Deals forum. 25 badges for $25.99 shipped is a very good deal for custom domed stickers. My friend James came up with the design, his PhotoShop skills are well above my own.

Chris, the only thing that comes to mind is to recommend you color match the drives. I like the paint on the interior of your case, is there anything special you had to do to get the paint to stick to the smooth steel? Do you find that it scratches easily? Also, update your .sig - your case number on the VH gallery is 355.

With the exception of the PSU cable (which looks to have been sleeved), the rest all appear to be just standard round cables that you can buy just about anywhere these days.
