Big deal, all Mercedes Bentz did was round out the current Ram's shape. It may be all new sheet metal, but the exterior is anything but new, just a rounding of the current design. It's still a good truck, but the styling is nothing special.

I have never really liked the look of Dodge trucks. The new ones look too 'far out' and the old ones were too 'old fashioned' for my tastes. The interior even looks cheap on the new Dodge pickup.

The truck vi_edit linked to, now THAT is a sweet truck!

Why mess with a proven design that sells well?? Look what happened to the Taurus when Ford redesigned it in '96. It BACKFIRED in their face. They did the right thing when they restyled it.

<< stick with the NAVIGATOR >>

What the hell?? The Navigator isn't even a pickup truck so there won't be any cross-shopping

ANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNYWAY....NEXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXT!!

*he probably is alluding to the $30K Navigator based truck called the Blackwood or something. 🙂*

By the way, the new Ram looks nice....

Wait a minute! NFS4, you switched the links. The first one, the yellow one was butt ugly. This one is pretty nice. I love the grill of the Dodge trucks. Lincoln Blackwood looks nice, and so does the Ford that was linked to.

My uncle here in Pittsburgh has a huge F350 extended cab, with the double tires in the back, so the wheel well actually bulges out. It's badass! I'll try to take some photos of it when I get the chance. The interior is all decked out too, all leather and whatnot. Thing gets mad use too, he drives it down to NYC to pick up restaurant supplies. The sucker hauls ass.

<<We waited 8 years for "rounded" sheet metal? Whoop-t-doo....>>

No, the sheetmetal was not the only thing improved. It has a quieter ride, has more horses, tows more, carries more, is more comfortable, has a new transmission, etc...

<<Wait a minute! NFS4, you switched the links. The first one, the yellow one was butt ugly.>>

The yellow one was an artist conception hired by car-truck.

fuglier than a mugly rat.
They used to look awesome back around 96....and now this!
Looks almostl ike the Power Box concept *eek* 🙁

I like it, but it looks like I gotta wait another year for the heavy duty with a diesel.

Thanks for the links. 🙂

It looks real nice, but I can't stop drooling over the new heavy duty Chevy engines.

8.1L gas V8 with 340 horsepower @ 4200 rpm and 455 lb.-ft. of torque @ 3200 rpm

or...

6.6L diesel V8 with 300 horsepower @ 3100 rpm and 520 lb.-ft. of torque @ 1800 rpm

You can pull small states with that kind of torque.

1) Chrysler just reported $500M in losses for the last quarter
2) Chrysler is poised to report $1B in losses for the next quarter
3) That photo says 2002 edition

4) You ain't never gonna see that truck... 😉

in 84, they lost more than 1.5 billion, and they came back, the minivan saved them. scratch that, the K-car saved them.

The words "is suck" come to mind when I look at the design. That this is fugly! They could've done better...

Dodge Ram... Best Use of Drugs I ever Seen.

P.s. Where's the friggin Payload? After all, it is supposed to be a Truck... ain't it?😕
