Mine works well in the bathroom, it keeps the air fresh and not stale since there's poor ventilation in the bathroom. I would never buy a regular/large size Ionic Breeze. However I have heard that the Holmes $20 air purifer found at Target and Walmart B&M's does just as good if not better of a job than this does. What I like is no air filters to replace, I don't mind the cost of replacing air filters but it's such a chore. With the ionic breeze I just remove the metal rods, wipe them clean with a damp cloth, make sure they are bone dry then put them back in.

RossMan, I'm still around. :) I've just been lurking and posting once in a blue moon. I'm also getting in on some of these great deals everyone is posting on here.

"Certificates are audited for validity prior to shipping."

Looks like there could be some cancelations. Offer is only for second time customers. I.E., you buy from them, they send/email you the coupon, you get the $25 off the second time you buy from them.

That sounds like an unusual place for this thing. How good can it be in a bathroom when its small and people always come and go. And what kind of odor particles attract to it in the bathroom. :Q

Disgusting!!! :p

i would recommend not buying that ionic breeze crap

wheter it works is questionable

the epa states that the ones that do work can often times produce an unhealthy ammount of ozone... (so ive read!)

There is a huge thread regarding smart foam memory pillows, mattresses, mattress toppers, etc. going on now in the forums. I think the name of it is "The Unofficial Smart Foam Memory Thread".............check it out, it has all kinds of different pillows and personal recommendations from all over the place.

The Consumer Reports had an article that stated the Ionic Breeze is the worse bang for the buck compare to other traditional air filter.

I would stay away from these expensive gimmics. With all informercial and advertisement money they spend on the Ionic Breeze, the cost is trasfer to the misinformed buyer.

Read the fine print for the $25 off $50 offer:

About this offer:
Offer is valid for first-time new Sharper Image customers only, and to only those who have received the paper savings certificate and letter in their first shipment.

There is however a $10 off $50, $15 off $60, $20 off $100 SharperImage coupons that are good for everyone. ($15 off $60 is with AMEX blue only).

I saw that thread its like 1000 posts long and I tried a forum search and it yielded no results I just wanted to find out if anyone had one of these and can attest to the quality

its a lot easier than reading 1000 posts , i've already read about 300 :)

It's apparently enough to use the coupon, because it shows the discount with just that in the order. So you don't have to find anything else to make the minimum. There's probably nothing on the site that wouldn't bring you way over the min, like the ubiquitous (at Staples, anyway) box of paper clips ;)

I had the Ionic Breeze Mini-Plug in thing and it only lasted a year. I used it in my bathroom and it always smelled like Ozone in there. Be sure that you clean it regularily though. I didn't and the wires inside that produce the electric charge literally rotted away. :(

Ozone causes any rubber products in contact with it to dry up and rot away- another thing to keep in mind if you have one of these-

I just purchased the Personal Cooling System 2.0. Anybody have any experience with it?

i've read that the personal cooling system is very very bad for you...

the thing is is that it tricks your body into thinking that it is cool so your body will not sweat....however your body is in actuality still hot and of course needs to sweat (this is what your body is supposed to do), but since it doesn't think it is hot, it won't.

hope that makes a little bit of sense? :)
