Sorry, I'm a bit confused. So in order to get the $10 rebate, all I need to do is register the product at the Fash Cash Ebat site and send in the confirmation page ?

<< Why are the TY cds better than the other ones? >>

Made in Japan. 'Nuff said. ;) (Sorry, I'm Japanese and speak with a bias.) :)

No, but really, these are the BEST ones for archiving. I have two sets of disks, one memorex, and the other TDK Taiyo Yuden. The Memorexes are now near-dead (I just re-burned them onto Fuji yesterday). The sets are both ~2-3 years old. The TDK's are still readable, however...I knew there was something wrong with Memorex when I could SEE THROUGH the media...

does the "made in japan" printed on the back of the spindle pretty much guarantee that the disks are manufactured by Taiyo Yuden? Does that go for other brands also (eg sony, fuji, etc)?

sony and fuji get at least some of their discs from TY. TY is a manufacturing company, all those brands you see like TDK, fuji, sony, memorex, those are all just rebranded cdrs, from some manufacturer. they don't make the cds themselves.

TY is known for their cream colored cap, that screws on the spindle on top.

Just got my spindle pack! No mention of the sale anywhere. I had to search for the 100-packs; they were stuck in the back with no price label near them. I had to have a cashier check the price for me.

Hey all, just picked up my spindle from BB. First off, the rebate process is really nice w/ the websight, makes things quick and easy. The last bit about the original ebate had me confused for a second, but i figured they were referring to the original rebate form that gets printed out along w/ your rebate reciept. Second, I downloaded cd-r identifier and verifed that they are taiyo yudens!!! Thirdly, I like crunchy peanut butter.. =)

Thanks for the hot deal!

Good deal. Had a $5 digital coupon sitting in my Inbox. Selected in-store picked. This brings the deal down to $14.99 + tax AR. :)

Last day for rebate - if you don't have the time to go to BB today, order online and pick-up within seven days.
