I currently have my Duron 600 @ 810 at 1.65v. My idle temp in my Enlight 7237 is around 45c with load at 50c. That is with an Alpha PAL6035 and standard grease. I have an 80mm sucking in at the bottom, one blowing out at the back, and a 92mm blowhole placed on the panel blowing between the CPU and video card. All the fans are Panaflos. I'm selling my 6035 to my brother and am choosing between the above two mentioned as my next heatsink. I'd have to mod the PEP66 to get the fan on top in my KT7. Which heatsink should I get, and which fan should I get? I will also be picking up some Arctic Silver II grease. I appreciate all feedback. Thanks.

I would get the cheaper one...
I have no expirance with the PEP66, butI have the Taisol and it is very quiet. This is the reason I picked this Cooler.. and it does a good job(I am overclocking a PIII (with less heat production ) not a Duron or T-bird which has more heat). but it keeps 1 of my CPU(first 1) very cool about 3 degrees compare to my second cpu which has the BIG stock INTEL HSF which isn't that bad.

I love my pep66. I also have an enlight7237. anyway, with a p3800eb@966 at 1.80v I get idle temps between 7c-15c I have no thermal grease on it yet(my artic silver JUST came in). Idont have the stock fan on there, so Im not sure how loud it normally is. my vote is for te alpha:)

Pure performance, the PEP66, even wtih quieter fan, is a better performer. Not by a huge amount, but it is better.

Stock Taisol is cheaper and quieter, though.
