I use whatever shitty pens I can find.

'Death by Skilcraft' isn't really a thing.

Also, this one time, in Afghanistan, Skilcraft called my office and demanded to know about the counterfeit 'Silkcraft' toilet paper we had and who was going to do something about it. I replied, "Ma'am, we're trying to win a war here." Click. It was just as crappy as their product, anyways.

I own and carry a tactical pen. You can use it to break a car windows out or jab someone in the eyes. It's really a kubotoon. There are other forms of defense as well. http://www.thehomesecuritysuperstor...efense-weapons-self-defense-keychains-sub=183
That looks like a good way to get a couple broken fingers. I just carry a knife. If I were to fly, a rolled up magazine makes a fine weapon, and it gives you something to read which is more likely to happen than using it as a weapon.

I always make sure the crossword isn't already filled out.

Who decided that blind folks should manufacture an item for which a blind person simply cannot perform quality control?

I don't understand how I would break fingers with my tactical pen. Are you referring to the other crap that I linked to that goes on your hand? Some of that stuff may in fact be illegal in some states if not all.

Few quick jabs to the solar plexus/eyes/forehead is all that is needed. The end of this pen is really pointy. I mean it's able to break a window, lets put it that way.

Speaking of knives. If you want to risk it, they sell non-metallic knives. This is why millimeter wave needs to be used at all airports. I'd tape it to my chest.

We need a tactical screw driver... I say flat-head. Retractable head. Wait, no, COLLAPSIBLE HEAD.

I was looking at the first stuff on the linked page; the pseudo brass knuckles.

This is a true tactical pen. It's got a light for night time assaults and scissors to help you create new camo-based clothing designs.
