I guess it is a diseased ear of corn. " it’s a plant disease that grows on ears of corn around the kernels in puffy, gray clouds that look kind of like river stones."

I ain't eating that crap. Around here we throw that out when it gets diseased.

Of course it's gross when you cook it. When the Mexican lady who's been making it for 20 years does it and then puts it in between glorious blue corn hand made tortillas, it tastes like glory.

Usually hit the Taco-trucks on Long Wharf favorite one is this ... $4.50 for 2 good-size taco's and a side of re-fried beans with rice plus chips & salsa fills me right up!
