The $5 box here remained at that price for about three days max. Now it's a minimum of $6.49.
wait......
what?
I think pricing can vary if it's a franchise store, the KFC/Taco Bell in the town I actually live in has ridiculous prices for their Taco Bell food, instead of the beefy five layer being a buck, it's $2.19, for example.https://www.tacobell.com/food/combos/cravings-deal
Wouldn't surprise me if pricing varied so maybe the ones buy you just suck
If you respond to the survey on the receipt, their management will hear about it, and they might work towards sucking less. One tiny little squirt of sour cream that's maybe on half the taco. Three or four pieces of tomato on a supreme. That kinda stuff.

False. It's supposed to have a specified amount of sour cream, and a specified amount of tomatoes, etc. One of the specific questions on the survey is "was your taco visually full?".Doubt that would help, Taco Bell is suppose to suck. I dropped $6.50 there the other night and left with one of the heaviest bag of food I've ever gotten for under $10. Nobody goes to Taco Bell for the awesome food, they go because it's cheap and tastes good enough to pass.

Horse? Those bastards screwed me again, you can't swap in horse to replace rat!![]()
I guess the question is if you'd eat another...I'm pretty sure that I once ate a rat burger when in Dublin. True story.![]()

beefy frito burrito's a buck
The $5 box isn't overpriced for what it is. The Cheesy Gordita Crunch alone costs about $3. It also comes with the burrito supreme, crunchy taco, drink and nachos. Clearly you can do better elsewhere, but I can tell you right now you won't get a meal and drink for five bucks.
I got the $5 box the other day & was surprised at how filling it is. I couldn't even finish the whole thing.
I had them make mine like a regular chalupa, beef/sour cream/cheese. It was decent.I had the Naked Chicken Chalupa two times now. It's pretty darn good. I was impressed with the quality of the chicken...seemed better than the crap McD's puts in their chicken sandwiches.
I added ground beef to mine, so I guess it wasn't naked, but it was pretty darn good that way. Felt weird to not have meat IN the taco.
Hold up, it doesn't COME WITH taco filling? I thought that was the whole point of this thing. It's a chalupa with a fried chicken shell. If you have to add the meat then it's just fried chicken wrapped around sad lettuce and sour cream.I had the Naked Chicken Chalupa two times now. It's pretty darn good.
